Smartphone Global Shipment Ranking in 2015 Q2

TrendForce publish the report of 2015 Q2 global smartphone shipment. In 2015 Q2, the 

global shipment of smartphone achieves 304 million, which increases by 1.9% compared 

with Q1. Trendforce predicts that the global smartphone shipment in 2015 will increase by 

8.2% instead of 11.6% because of weakened demand. Compared with 25.6% high speedupof 2014, the increasing of smartphone is facing with the plateau period and every mobile 

phone manufacturer is suffering severe test.

Samsung decreases its global shipment to 45 million because of limit of supply even thoughGalaxy S6 and S6 Edge change a lot.

Apple shipment is quite higher because the release of big screen iPhone6 and iPhone 6 

Plus. It is said that iPhone6s and iPhone6s Plus will be released in the second half year andApple global shipment will increase by 15%

Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Huawei will increase by 40% in 2015 and TrendForce predicts that its global shipment will increase to 100 million in 2015. 

Even though Lenovo gets successful acquisition of Motorola, it does not show some effect. Ambiguous product position and the suppress from other manufacturers in middle and low 

end products line makes its global shipment ranking drop to No.6.
