Besides the ally between intel and Rockchip in 2015, there are some shock news happening in Shenzhen tablet PC solution companies.
Topwise Communication Co., Ltd, which was the largest board shipment tablet PC solution company in Shenzen: now its monthly tablet board shipment is several hundreds thousands pieces in the Q4 of 2014 ( including Allwinner and MTK), but Allwinner’s market share is
decreasing, and poor shipment of MTK solution, much lower gross profit of board, Topwise gives up its tablet board business totally and begin to do the whole set business. Its change in tablet PC is similar with mobile phone industry. Before, there are so many mobile phone
solution companies begin to do whole set with the integrating sources and increasing orders.
Throughtout all the electronics industry, all the solution companies that has survived has
transformed to the whole set business, which is necessary. But for the tablet PC companies in Shenzhen, is it the right time to do so?
