USB Type-C, the Much Better User Experience

In fact, USB Type-C is less than one year. In August, 2014, USB 3.1 standards were defined, including a 

whole set physical specification, connector, port, container and cable and so on, which 

is a new USB cable and connector specification. Nokia N1 adopts it in the first time with 

limited effect, but new Macbook makes it popular.

Apple is high proud of USB Type-C, which can charge for notebook. According to USB3 quick data transition, it can connect 

all kinds of expansion of peripheral, support HDMI, VGA and DisplayPort video output, 

and its size is the 1/3of the present USB port. Of course, USB Type-C also has the following characters:

1. The biggest data transmit speed achieves 10Gbit/S, which is the standards of USB3.1;

2. The interface of Type-C`is about 8.3mm*2.5mm, slim design;

3. Support insert from both sides for 10 thousand times;

4. It can support 3A current and 100W power with USB Type-C connector standard cable.

Even though Apple adopts USB Type-C in 12inch Macbook for the first time, it is hard to popularize it in notebook. Consumers 

pay more attention to the expansion of notebook. But mobile phone and tablet is low in 

expansion. Most of them is charge, connecting with tablet, OTG expansion and so on, and USB Type-C is equal to these. Compared with Micro USB2.0 and 3.1Micro-B, Type-C is advantageous for the above characters.
