MTK Latest Chipset Release, AMD GPU March into Mobile field

MT8163 and MT8736, the latest MTK chipset, are two tablet chipset with quad core, 64 bit processor.

It is said that the benchmark of MT8163 achieves 30 thousand. It is Cortex A53 quad

core and support 1080P resolution, which can be used in Android 5.1 

platform with price of USD 5 only. MT8736 with a stronger performance supports 

FDD-LTE/TDD-LTE/WCDMA/CDMA2000，TDS and GSM, a full mode 4G tablet. At first, these two 

latest MTK chipsets with A53 cores do not have too many highlights, but its GPU 

from AMD catch attention, which is the first time for AMD marching into mobile 

market. Radeon authorizes its top end 3D image to MTK, who has full series of 

technology and high market share. Even though these latest MTK chipset are for a 

trial with drive problem and poor performance, Radeon will mature gradually in 

mobile field with the top end products with A72 from MTK come to the market.

It is said that MTK latest chipsets get low score because of compatibility, which only 

last a short time. With the improving of drive, Radeon will show its power and 

everyone will benefit from it.
