Just 1 week ago, Xiaomi launched its first international version of cell phone Mi 4i in India. Why? Because India mobile phone market has become the world second largest smart
phone markets beside China, with a population of 1.2 billion and more numbers climbing,
many world class cell phone makers are trying to jump in to share the market such as Appleand SAMSUNG. Of course, Chinese big brands will not give up any chances of expending
their own territory.
Lenovo, Huawei and Xiaomi are the top three most popular cell phone makers that are
leading the trend of the market in China now. When they are trying to take down enemies in the India mobile phone market, they found that it is a bit difficult because there is already a
big rival called Micromax without mentioning others.
Micromax has became the No.1 local brand in India mobile phone market with a market
share of 22%. Most of the cell phones were sold out last year in India with the price under
200USD, Micromax did catch the chance and published a couple of cell phones with a very good performance price ratio to win the market. Now with the increased customer loyalty
more and more local Indians prefer to use their own brands in the country.
