The Setup of Tablet PC Chipset in the world

In 2013, tablet PC chipsets shipment was about 250 million, except Apple 75 

million and Samsung 40 million, the chipset from Allwinner is 50 million, 

Rockchip 40 million, MTK and Amlogic 15-20 million respectively, and the 

shipment of other chipset manufacturers, such as Nvdia, Intel and Actions-semi, 

are not too many as others mentioned above.

Rockchip and Allwinner, are two of the tablet PC chipsets design companies from 

China mainland. Compared with Allwinner, the products mix and price of Rockchip 

is higher and with better customers(Asus, Toshiba, Huawei, Lenovo, HP, and Dell), 

more sales volume. In 2013, Rockchip sales revenue is about USD300--400 

million. In a word, Rockchip is the King of Android system tablet Pc chipset.

Even though the tablet PC chipset shipment in MTK is about 20million, but it is 

predicted that it will achieve 40 million in 2014 under the condition of no price war. 

From this situation, the mobile phone chipset manufacturers like MTK, is a sword 

hanging on Rockchip, which is  only tablet PC chipset manufacturer.
