Marvell’s New Breakthrough in 4G Mobile Phone Market

Marvell is a worldwide leader in integrated silicon solutions, today announced that its industry-

leading ARMADA Mobile LTE solution, a highly integrated quad-core application and 

communications SoCplatform, will power leading global electronics manufacturer, Lenovo’s first 

TD-LTEsmart phone which is well positioned to support China Mobile’s plans to sell 100 million 4G LTE 

smart phone in 2014. The Android-based Lenovo A788T smart phone is priced around 1,000 RMB 

(approx U.S. $165) and is well positioned to drive the rapid adoption of 4G LTE. It will support three 

communication modes, TD-LTE, TD-SCDMA, and GSM.
