Qualcomm Finishes funding Chinese companies about USD 40 Million

On December, 12th, 2014, Qualcomm hold the China strategic venture investment press 

conference in Beijing and announced officially that Qualcomm and its subsidiaries had 

promised to invest USD 40 million on four Chines companies and China Venture Investment 

Found of Walden International.

In the middle of this year, Qualcomm has leaked out that they will fund USD150 million for 

China strategic venture investment fund and in this press, Qualcomm announced they 

have finished the investment on 7Invensun, Chukong, Inplug and Unisound and Walden 

International, total USD40 million.

Nagraj Kashyap, the Senir Venture Investment VP in Qualcomm, said,” Qualcomm is 

passionate at creativity and commits to help push the China wireless industry development. 

These startups concentrate on semi-conductor, mobile app development, smart home and 

health care, which provides good supplement for the products and service in Qualcomm. 

We are looking forward to cooperating with these companies and provide finance, 

marketing, technology and business support to help them develop in the fierce competitive 

wireless system.
